WINTER WONDERLAND ..........

Snow has descended, turning our little world into a Winter Wonderland.

I went out at 7.30 am and took these photographs of our house.

We haven't had this much snow for a good few years so it's a bit of a novelty. I think that the whole of the UK is blanketed in snow......

the perfect time to dress the tree .....

Keep warm.

    1. Thanks Cro .... it looks pretty much the same every year. The snow was a bonus but, most of it has melted now and been washed away by the rain. XXXX

  3. Oh my how beautiful your home and tree look. I love to see snow just as it has fallen, pristine and sparkling white. Sadly it often doesn't stay like that in the UK. We here in East Sussex have only got torrential rain and high winds so far, maybe we will get some snow, hope so. I wish you a sparkling and wonderful Christmas. Regards Sue H xx

  8. Jackie your house is so beautiful, inside and outside, then with the snow it looks even better, like in a Christmas card!
This year I made a small Christmas tree (30cm height per 20cm wider base) with small drift wood - no decorations, plain and simple - it looks pretty on our mantel piece. Your tree is magical!

Your Christmas tree sounds lovely ..... very contemporary ..... every year I say that I'm just going to put lights on our tree but, I can't resist all of the baubles etc.
Hope you are feeling well Maria. XXXX

    2. I am feeling ok so cross my fingers, thank you Jackie x
Yes, it started to snow here on Sunday afternoon and continued to do so right through the night. The snow only washed away this morning after the rain. I love to look at fresh falling snow from behind a window and only for a few hours, then it must just go away! :)
