Snow has descended, turning our little world into a Winter Wonderland.
I went out at 7.30 am and took these photographs of our house.
We haven't had this much snow for a good few years so it's a bit of a novelty. I think that the whole of the UK is blanketed in snow......
the perfect time to dress the tree .....
Keep warm.

Beautiful tree Jacqueline. It all looks wonderful (even the snow).
ReplyDeleteThanks Cro .... it looks pretty much the same every year. The snow was a bonus but, most of it has melted now and been washed away by the rain. XXXX
DeleteSo you too are experiencing the MAGIC of a first snowfall . . .
ReplyDeleteWonderful isn’t it . . .
Lovely home by the way . . ,
I love it Lynne ..... makes everywhere look magical ..... even the ugly bits !!! XXXX
DeleteOh my how beautiful your home and tree look. I love to see snow just as it has fallen, pristine and sparkling white. Sadly it often doesn't stay like that in the UK. We here in East Sussex have only got torrential rain and high winds so far, maybe we will get some snow, hope so. I wish you a sparkling and wonderful Christmas. Regards Sue H xx
ReplyDeleteIt's wonderful when it has just fallen isn't it Susan ? Not so pretty when its dirty and slushy though !!
DeleteWishing you and your family a magical Christmas. XXXX
Do you give your house a complete makeover from time to time to create a new look?? Your tree is beautiful, with and without lights on. xxxx
ReplyDeleteNo Rachel .....our house has looked the same for ages .... but, it's just been given a lick of paint in a few rooms but that's all.
DeleteThe tree looks the same each year ...... same old decorations come out. XXXX

Jackie your house is so beautiful, inside and outside, then with the snow it looks even better, like in a Christmas card!
ReplyDeleteThis year I made a small Christmas tree (30cm height per 20cm wider base) with small drift wood - no decorations, plain and simple - it looks pretty on our mantel piece. Your tree is magical!
Greetings Maria x
Everything looks lovely in the snow doesn't it Maria ? Have you had snow yet ?
DeleteYour Christmas tree sounds lovely ..... very contemporary ..... every year I say that I'm just going to put lights on our tree but, I can't resist all of the baubles etc.
Hope you are feeling well Maria. XXXX
I am feeling ok so cross my fingers, thank you Jackie x
DeleteYes, it started to snow here on Sunday afternoon and continued to do so right through the night. The snow only washed away this morning after the rain. I love to look at fresh falling snow from behind a window and only for a few hours, then it must just go away! :)
X
So pleased that you are feeling OK Maria ...... you need to be well for Christmas.
DeleteMost of our snow has gone now as we also has lots of rain yesterday. I am like you .... love the freshly fallen snow but hate the brown slushy stuff !!! I'm not keen on driving in it !!
Keep well Maria and keep warm. Much love. XXXX
