you will be greeted by the magnificent Christmas tree ...

... the welcoming salon ...
... where you will be able to partake in a variety of cocktails ...
... there will be dancing in the ballroom ...
... and drinks and canapes.
... should you partake in one or two drinks too many, there are bedrooms available where you can sleep it off !

ReplyDeleteOf course you are Cro ...... at the very top !!!
DeletePlease keep your hands off the fixtures and fittings ... they are mine, all mine !!! XXXX
Too much fun! What a fabulous interpretation of a fantasy party. Although I may find I need to stay home that evening and wash my hair (not that I'm nervous about how closely the guest list might be linked to the dinner menu or the goody bags. . . .)
ReplyDeleteNo need for a hairwash .... the greasier the better !!! XXXX
Delete"All of your favourite, fun-loving friends will be here to make this party a..." Nightmare!! Hahaha Jackie, this is very funny...and so different to the glittering cocktail parties. I wonder what brand perfume I could wear in case I'm invited...?
ReplyDeleteGreetings Maria x
I think that your perfume MUST be eau de toilette Maria .... literally !!!! XXXX
DeleteHa ha!
DeleteX
Hehe !!! XXXX
DeleteOh how splendid. I love the photo of the family complete with an Afghan hound sporting a haircut to match the rest of the family members. Hilarious and you are quite right no one will be able to match the even or your stunning outfit. I presume Igor from Young Frankenstein will be your butler. I am totally envious. Regards Sue H xxx
ReplyDeleteIgor will greet you at the door Susan. My outfit will stop everyone in their tracks !!! XXXX
DeleteDo you celebrate Christmas on October 31st?
ReplyDeleteAll of the other women in the By Invitation group will probably write about lovely, expensive do's ... I like to be different !!! XXXX
DeleteOh, Jackie. This is delightfully unexpected! I chuckled all the way through. PERFECT. (And I bet you would look wonderful in that "snowball" suit.)

I hope you didn't mind me going somewhat ' off piste '' Wolfie !!! I like to have a laugh .... it's so good for us .
DeleteHappy, happy Christmas to you and all of your family and friends ..... have a magical time. XXXX
The dancers are incongruous with the house. I like the house and would like to live there. I also would not want the fun loving faces, they would not be welcome. I like many things in the house including the tree. May be my theme for next year.xxx
ReplyDeleteYou are right about the dancers Rachel ... well spotted !!! I like the house too ... XXXX
DeleteI love this so much!!!! What a party x
ReplyDeleteThanks Kerrie. XXXX
DeleteYou gave me a good chuckle this morning, Jacqueline! Loving the Christmas "snowball" outfit! Merry Christmas to you and your family~
ReplyDeleteI think I might wear it on Christmas Day although it won't be easy to cook the dinner in !!! XXXX
DeleteWhat a Great post....have a wonderful merry merry Christmas darling...love love love Ria x ❤️💋
ReplyDeleteWishing you a magical Christmas Ria. XXXX
DeleteThe guy with his face in his dinner plate is hilarious. That tree looks like the Griswold's Christmas turkey. on National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation:)
ReplyDeleteHaha ... I loved the Griswold's Susan ! Looking forward to more BIO in the New Year. XXXX
DeleteDear Jackie, I would like to wish you and your family a Happy Christmas. Buon Natale!
