  7. Dear Jacqueline, Thanksgiving Day seems to me to be a wonderful American tradition that we in the UK could embrace as there is so much in all our lives for which we can give thanks.

  20. I don't know about you Jackie but I am really craving a turkey sandwich today after watching all the American Thanksgiving festivities. Our Canadian thanksgiving is way too early. I guess I could throw a turkey in the oven. Much love XO

  21. Well if an expat American in Germany qualifies for Thanksgiving wishes, Jackie, then I'm happy to accept them! We didn't celebrate Thanksgiving this year with a big feast; we only do that every few years -- a bit too much work when Thanksgiving Thursday is just a normal working day for everyone here. But I had some nice phone calls with America that day, and I can feel thankful for much.
Wishing you a wonderful weekend! (And thanks for your beautiful comment the other day!)
    XOXO

  25. Jackie, cherie, you are a gift and I'm thankful that we have met. I do apologize for being Missing In Action. You know it's not because I don't love everything you do, including you.

    Trust me on this one.

Unfortunately I no longer celebrate Thanksgiving and I certainly miss it.
