It's very overgrown ..........

Even the women are beautiful in this garden !!
Tea anyone ?

Collect yourselves some fireflies ..... it's getting dark ..........
Now, where's that gate gone ..... I've got to get home.
Here in the U.K., we had a taste of Spring BUT apparently, rain and even snow are coming again so, images of beautiful gardens are all I have at the moment !

Jackie I feel like I have been to Heaven and back. I try to make my garden a secret. But I live on a major artery through the western part of the US, and my garden is sunken, so it's kindda out there for the whole world to see. I am making a secret garden in the back of the property though. One that only we will see and enjoy.
ReplyDeleteI love these gorgeous images in this super gorgeous post. You always find a way to bring more beauty into my life, and I thank you for that.
hugs
Don't we all long for a secret garden? Your photos are gorgeous. Here on the west coast of Canada rain, rain and more rain is in the forecast. And it's colder now than it was in February! Spring is always capricious.

I tried soooo hard to comment here last night but the google server decided it had to have a little nervous breakdown...who in the hell does it think it is when I have things to say!! (Oh, and by the way your recent comments on my blog completely cracked me up...keep em coming pleeeease!) Do you think that my white wisteria over that pesky pergola will ever look as good as the one in your picture? And could I please swap that cat for the vampire slayer?? Sorry this is so late, but I can't be blamed...technology is the culprit xx

Nicely assembled images - you're got a very English eccentric vibe going there. We'll all burst on the scene any minute now in our best Vivienne Westwood ensembles.
ReplyDeleteYou find the most wonderful photos Jackie!! I love my garden and I too will have to wait a bit before I get out in the dirt. I am praying that no more snow will fall here and they are predicting an about average week-end temperature wise here for Easter ~ 17 C on Saturday and that is NOT normal. Thank you for taking me away this morning. xo
ReplyDeleteLove the first pic and all these gorgeous gardens! Here in Italy finally Spring is officially arrived.

I'm enchanted!
ReplyDeleteI'm with Barbara; I'm enchanted too. Where ever do you find such marvelous photos. You were able to weave a path for us to follow quite perfectly and delightful. I'd love to feel like a kid again discovering those newly found paths. I remember as though it were yesterday. My imagination I'm afraid was expansive! Such a lovely, fun post. If you tire of the cold, hop on a plane to Houston. It'll be pool time before we know it! Have a lovely weekend my friend. xoxo
ReplyDeleteHow utterly divine and I remember how much I loved that book.
ReplyDeleteWeather report: sun followed by rain, followed by gale force winds accented with bits of hail and then it starts all over again. So far, buds are holding up.
You weave the most enchanting fairy tales.

I haved looked at this post at least 10 times in the few minutes I have been on your blog. I found you via DJ, whom I love with all my heart. DJ took a Mississippi Bumpkin under her wing, and taught me Fashion, at it's best. I had the basics, DJ adds the finesse. It's has only been at her blog, that posts reached out grabbed my soul, and whispered a story in my ear. I have that exact feeling right now. Jackie, did you see me on the swing up there? In my dreams at 40 that's still me. Learned this love at 18 living in Paris Amsterdam Brussels and London, for a year of my life. 3 month stints, but studies of culture and romance, and taste that I will never forget. I am so honored to be #517, and I am sending you much love from the sunny shores of The Mississippi Gulf Coast, I am Lisa, aka The Bumpkin and I hope you will teach me life as you know, through your eyes, and your heart. Such a pleasure the high point of my day. Now, a quick kiss, on one cheek, now turn, and another on the other! Mwah
