..... A LITTLE TIED UP .....

Have been somewhat tied up, helping to move our son, daughter-in-law and grandson into their Victorian home. As they have been living with us for a few months while everything went through, having sold their flat a while ago, they now have the luxury of moving in at their leisure.

After getting the keys on Thursday, we have been gradually moving them in but, they are now on their own, apart from some help with painting & babysitting !!

Most of their possessions are now in their new home and they can now start making it theirs .

Here's wishing them many happy times in their new home....

..... &, if you haven't seen them already, here's a video of the spectacular London fireworks, bringing in 2012, the music having been mixed by our son for the second year running.
They were even more amazing than last year so well done Dan ..... another proud moment for your Mum and Dad !!

  3. So nice of you to do that for them! I know you love them dearly, but I can bet that a teeny part of you is glad to have your home back. I can't believe you had your grandson in your house for 2 months and just posted, ummm, NO PICS! That is just not fair I tell ya!

  4. I hope they'll be inspired by the cosy elegance of your house and are already hunting feverishly for floursack armchairs and vintage French linen cushions. It sounds as though they are near you and you'll still see plenty of your sweet little grandson.

We always like having our son as he comes in and out, keeps us young and alert to say nothing of helping my cooking skills. Love the fireworks, how great that your son does this for you (and us) each year. Hope it was the most wonderful holiday and Happy New Year to our (most ) fun blogger. XO

  14. Such excitement for your family Jackie. Congratulations to Dan & Laura and baby Henry as they begin their lives in their new home, and congrat's to Dan for mixing the music for the big London N.Y.E. bash!! That's so very exciting and I'd be bursting (like the fireworks) with pride too. You've had a lot on your plate since the holidays but it's what keeps us young.

I hope 2012 will bring nothing but happiness and good health for the entire family.

Much love and happy New Year.
