Our second post in the 'Invitation Only' series is 'The Devil Is In The Details' . This theme was chosen by two of the participant's :
Vicki Archer of French Essence
and
Tish Jett of Femme D'un A Certain Age.
When people say ' the devil is in the details', they usually mean that it is the small things in plans and schemes that are often overlooked and can cause serious problems later on.
I'm far more shallow than that and have taken it literally !!!! haha
Some beautifully devilish details in fashion but, the follower of fashion that has got the details SO right is ..........
PERFECT !!!!
Pop over to Marsha @ Splenderosa to find the links to all of the other participant's.
One last thing.....if I haven't commented on some of your posts lately, it isn't for want of trying........I write a beautifully composed comment..... witty, humorous and sometimes sensitive !!, press publish and it disappears ! I shall persevere and hope that Blogger gets it's act together !!

I'm going to have nightmares for weeks with that last photo Jackie!!
ReplyDeleteJackie, the last one is a nightmare!
ReplyDeletehugs!
Very cool Jackie. The first image and the hefty guy remind me very much of the inmates I used to care for as a RN in the Dept. of Corrections. We once had to remove a bull's ring from a penis...ugh. With a little orthopedic saw. The other images are lovely. olive
ReplyDeleteNo! No! you just can't shock me like that...you cannot lull me into enjoying the pretty stuff then do this.... it is all too much ....I need to eat now, chocolate I think to settle my stomach....he he xxxx

Love your sense of fun Jackie.....xv
ReplyDeleteJackie, cherie, you are a delight. You have taken your usual creative genius to the subject and turned it on it's horned head.
ReplyDeleteThis is fabulous.
xoxo,
Tish
You always find the most clever pics! Where do you come up with these? Quite a few of those fashions are gorgeous, but where would you wear them too? Grocery store, parent/teacher conferences.... The last one though, I wouldn't be caught dead in or with! Oh, and the ear piercing freaked me out a bit too.
ReplyDeleteWell the last picture certainly destroyed any happy thoughts I was having about picture number two. And at my age happy thoughts are far and few between.
ReplyDeleteJacqueline, you have let all hell break loose here.
ReplyDeleteI say "fire" their stylists.
The prayer to St Michael the arc angels comes to mind
...."save us from the fires of hell etc.
Fun and clever post

What a riveting collection of pictures...the devil REALLY is in the details! Love it! Such fun seeing everyones interpretation!!
ReplyDeleteScarry post !!...love from me.......xxx....
ReplyDeletebrilliant....and horrific in equal measures!!!
ReplyDeleteYou are SO funny Jackie! I won't be able to sleep for a week after this post! Some scary, scary folks I'd say. Something you might not know about me is that I love a good scary movie and October usually finds me watching my yearly share of them...especially on Halloween night. My kids think I'm nuts, they hate scary movies, but not me. Dale will watch with me once in awhile as long as it's not too bad. I think he saw scarier things in his job as a cop, so he thinks that's quite enough.
ReplyDeletehugs from here...
Great post and lovely sense of humour.

ReplyDeleteBummer that Blogger is eating your comments! And OMG, I'm dying over that last photos. So funny!
ReplyDeleteHi Jackie ~
ReplyDeleteThanks for your comment on the tattoos. I'm always intrigued by others opinions on this very hot topic of do or don't. Of course, I respect all thoughts and feel it is definitely an individual's right to ink or not just like piercings and such. It should always serious thought without a rash last minute decision. The crumb finds them to be fun and like stickers, so I do not feel any harm. She draws pictures on herself with markers and glitter pens. I believe she enjoys 'art' as much as her papa and anything can be a canvas.
Now...these devil images are incredible sans the last revolting one! Ha! I do so enjoy the devilish side of beauty.
Bisous,
Melissa
only a sweet angel like you could come up with such devilish pics.
ReplyDeleteYou l'il devil!! Great post Jackie. Hopefully I'll be back to blogging quickly. I'm missing you all again. xxx
ReplyDeleteIsn't that red shoe with the snake anklet just awesome. Love your interpretation, J. I've been stuck taking care of an elderly friend who is having a difficult time with family members...sometimes I don't get home until 11-12 at night. But, I know my attention is needed. As always, I love & adore your every post. Love...
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love those pictures. However, I haven't been on your blog for a while. My aunt is getting married and I wanted to show her a song that she might like. I forgot the name but, I knew you played it on your blog. Can you give me the list of the songs you had?
