MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE ..........






Wishing all of my blogging friends the merriest of Christmases.

Eat, Drink and be Merry ,

Thank you all for your blogging friendship, your posts which have made me laugh, cry , enlightened me, touched me and have given me food for thought. 

I still think blogging is the best social media platform even though it is now thought a bit like it's had it's day ! 

Keep blogging ..... I'd miss you all so much if you weren't there,

    I always agreed with you that blogging was the best social media platform, and probably still is of the highest quality. But what makes you think it is now a bit past its used-by-date? Fewer blogs out there? Fewer comments on each post? Lower quality posts or comments?
    I hope we are all still here in the New Year :)

      Many bloggers that I followed in the beginning have left blogging now Hels. I used to get over 100 comments { not that I need that but it just showed how many bloggers there were out there} . Many that I followed are now only on Instagram/ Tik Tok and Pinterest probably because it is quick. I made so many friends from all over the world but many have given up blogging now. When a new platform comes along, people move on quickly. Anyway, I'm going to carry on with it ! XXXX

      I think "quick" is never as satisfying as "quality". So yes, we should all Carry On!

      I did have a wonderful time as it's one of the few times over 50 years where I didn't have to cook the Christmas dinner !!! It was wonderful. XXXX

    Late to the party needless to say - busy cooking, cleaning, eating, drinking, pulling crackers, charades, opening pretty packagees, keeping the fire going, hugging, singing, watching 'Charlie Brown Christmas' etc. etc. All what Christmas is about - and thinking of your lovely words here Jackie and thanking you back.
    Here's so another blogging year ahead with our super friends around the world.

      I'm very late in answering Mary so no worries. I've been doing pretty much all of those things as well.
      I still love blogging. It's so much more friendly and personal than the other platforms. I always say it's like having lots of pen friends{ that dates me !!! }
