Skies are very grey and overcast, here in the
U.K. and there is another threat of sleet and snow so, here are a few beautiful grey images to get us through these long
wintry days.
How about this for a
beautiful study in grey ?
That's probably where my brolly will end up when I'm out tomorrow.
A lovely place to be with friends and family on a warm summer's evening.......Oh, that seems a very long way away !!
I always keep my Jimmy
Choo's on the sash window, don't you ?
Altogether now ..........
Aaaaaahhhhh
Gorgeous...............
.......... more gorgeous ..........
.......... and even more gorgeous !!
Sigh......
The promise of summer..........
.......... and, just before I go.... another
Aaaaaahhhhh !!
Well. There we are. Something to lift the mood on this grey , winter's day here in the U.K.
Have a great day everyone, wherever you are.
Jackie
Thanks for helping with my 'grey' day. The temps are finally in the 50-60s, but no sun...I guess we can't have it all. I love the white French chair, and the bunny in the cup was sure to result in a smile. Summer is coming!
ReplyDeleteOh. You did so beautifully.
ReplyDeleteOh, if I ever get some Jimmy Choos I am putting them in the window for sure! What fun. Great photos and hope they helped to lift the gray, it did for me. XO
ReplyDeleteOh, my goodness! What sweet and lovely photos!!!

OK you got me with the bunny!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful images for any day!!
ReplyDeleteToday we had sun here in Chicago. Finally!! It was so nice to open the curtains and let it filter in. Still... cold and snow on the way, but we had one lovely day!
xoxo

Lovely idea :)
ReplyDeleteLovely, lovely photos. We're having rain where I live, too - in fact, we're in for a solid week of it.
ReplyDeleteSooo lovely...I especially love the outdoor setting for a dinner party!
ReplyDeleteI love all the photos, Jackie...just gorgeous! The outdoor dining is something for all of us to look forward to this spring and summer and the shoes on the window - love it!
ReplyDeleteIt's actually looking a bit like winter here in Southern California...lots of rain the last few days...we definitely need it though!
Have a wonderful day! xxoo
Lovely images, as always. ;) A tough choice, but I think the outdoor table pic is my fave. Such a romantic setting. :)
ReplyDeleteSmiles,
rachel
It must be very hard for you all to get your Vitamin K at the moment (or is it D? whatever the sunshine one is). However, its a good chance to catch up on sleep with the sun setting so early..... I rather like the cold but that is because it is not cold here! xoxo
ReplyDeleteJackie,
ReplyDeleteGrey here too, but definitely not as glamorous as your world. You have such an eye my dear.
Marjorie
Consider the grey mood lifted! Wonderful photographs....oooh...ahhhh....sigh!
ReplyDeleteThanks Jackie!
:)
Well, you did it . . . and then some. You made grey gorgeous, glamorous, even giddy. You're the gal who transforms pumpkins into coaches and sow's ears into silk purses. Yes, Jackie, you are fairy godmother and magician all rolled into one. That's why I adore you. xoxo Gigi
ReplyDeleteDear Jacki, Your photos are so great. I love the one with the umbrella and the roses and the bunny is so sweet!!!
ReplyDeleteHave a nice wednesday,
many warm greetings,
Yvonne
Awwwww sweet Jackie!
ReplyDeleteYou have made my gray day brighter, even my dark evening! You can come to my home anyday and brighten any corner anything you choose~ I love what you do {especially the blue point siamese surprise!}
Thank you for such a beautiful post once again~~~~
XOXO

ReplyDeleteI think you can make a bright day even brighter... Really!
Well, it worked for me.....these are absolutely gorgeous Jackie!!!
ReplyDeleteThose chairs.....and I LOVE the shoes on the windowsill, fabulous!

PS Am loving your new sidebar images, they're wonderful :)
ReplyDeleteHi Jackie,
ReplyDeleteYour grey images make my day a lot more colourful :-)! Beautiful interiors and such a sweet bunny!!!
Wish you a lot of sunshine!
Lieve groet, Madelief
Loved all of those piccies thanks for sharing, and of course I always keep my Jimmy Choo's on the window sill!!! (I wish) Lucey xx
ReplyDeleteOoooh those lovely white 'salons' so tempting for chocolate covered little hands. My best friend has always managed to have that with her kids in Paris... The bunny is exquisite. Given where I live, the Jimmy Choos could only be on the sash window, but that bath sounds heavenly ... hmmm! You make those grey days sound ever so inviting!
ReplyDeleteHi Jackie
ReplyDeleteBeautiful images. They certainly brightened my day and it is already 28c here.. love them all and the peonies are just gorgeous!! Hope the weather gets better for you and you don't fly away with that umbrella... Stay warm my friend.. xxx Julie

Jackie - don't know where you find all these gorgeous pics! Love the country roses and the glimpse of green through the window - wish the garden was looking like that but all in good time....currently lightly snowing here again...hope you are having a lovely week in spite of the overcast skies and re-plummeting temperatures! Susie x
ReplyDeleteAmazing photos! Yes, it is very grey outside and wet but these photos certainly lift the mood.
ReplyDeleteI like all the images, exquisite selection, I remain with this expectant look of the cat ... wonderful.
ReplyDeleteHave a nice day, in Madrid the spring promises to be, today the sun is shinning,
DMV
I'm sorry the sun still isn't shining for you Jac. Its dry & hot here, & it looks like your William Wales is having a top time in Sydney at the moment. Heard on the news today he loves us so much he wants to buy a house here! Not sure what his Grannie would say about that.
ReplyDeleteMillie ^_^
Oh I'm cheered up that's for sure. Yes I did say Aaahh at the kitten and bunny...they are sooo cute.
ReplyDeleteThanks Jac's. xoxo
The bunny is just adorable ! My goodness! x
ReplyDeleteWho knew grey could be this beautiful - these gorgeous images would brighten even the greyest day. Hope the sunshine is not too far away. Leigh
ReplyDeleteYes, that did the trick, I feel quite chipper now. Mind you, it was also a moment of self-revelation, as I realised that the photos of baby animals elicit no Aaaahhhh from me whereas an overstuffed vintage chair does. Clearly time to go on an expensive island retreat and leisurely readdress my priorities over a few cocktails.
ReplyDeleteOh sweetie, I love this collection of pictures! Amazing!
ReplyDeleteJackie, Beautifull images..they definitely lifted my day and maybe even for the next week!
ReplyDeleteAhhhhh...
ReplyDeleteMy Dear Jackie,
just gorgeous!
You always lift me up!!! but with this post especially! That sweet kitty reminded me of Charlotte. Hey maybe you'll start a new decorating trend for window? using shoes....a different one every day....very clever.
ReplyDeleteI'll have a cup of bunny before I go too!!!
too cute!
xo,
Carole
I WANT THE FLOORS THAT HAS THE LEAVES ON IT.......I BELIEVE WE MAY HAVE THE SAME WALLPAPER IN OUR HOMES. HAVE A GOOD DAY IN SPITE OF THE GRAY. XO MARY

Saskia
Thank you for making me sigh on a grey evening in Denmark...! Helle:))
ReplyDeleteMy spirits are certainly lifted after looking at that gorgeous post!
ReplyDeleteJackie there's nothing like a cuppa bunny to take me out of the 'greys'. As always, I am amazed at the beauty you bring us everytime you post. Thank you so much Jackie for always satisfying my need for beauty.
ReplyDeletehugs
It's always lovely to come in here but today was really today.
ReplyDeleteThanks for brightening up a dreay day.
Much love
Lia

Bonjour Jackie,
ReplyDeleteMission accomplished - the greys are officially banished! Save a spot for me at that beautiful outdoor summery table.
Gorgeous as always!
These pictures made me smile Jackie and takes me away from the snow storm we are experiencing right now. I have so many favorites ~ the shoes, the dress, the cat ~ lovely or loverly as I like to say. Enjoy the rest of the week! xo
ReplyDeleteYep, that lifted my spirits! You ALWAYS find the MOST beautiful pictures possible!!! Oh that chair *sigh* I love it beyond words! And that table set outside, at night, under that gorgeous tree...amazing!!!

I don't know how I missed this. Is there anything to not like about this. Puts gray in a whole new light. I always thought that gray was pretty expecially with a splash of color like the umbrella. Love the bunny though!
ReplyDeleteHere is hoping that you get some sunshine soon!
It's me again! I just miss the bunny! So cute...
ReplyDeleteJackie........honestly, just when I DON'T need any more inspiration for anything else, you have to go and post THIS!
ReplyDeleteI was oohing and aaahing right along with this awesome display of loveliness!!
thanks!!
Jackie...I've missed your posts. Always know how to make me smile every time. Those peonies are amazing!! By the way...let me know your thoughts when you stop at Kettners.

Sending some sunny warmer sun if only in your mind. It finally was sunny here today after what seems like weeks of gray too. It was a weird 72c; it seems like it went from really cold to, too warm. But, not complaining mind you. I loved this post as I always do. I'm so far behind this week & I've missed keeping in touch. Graham is loving being back home in Aberdeen. Wish I too were there, cold & all. Hugs for a happy weekend my dear xoxo deb
